Pertenece a las Tierras Altas de la Provincia de Chiriquí, es una visita imperdible si estás en esta zona. Además, aquí podrás disfrutas de un encantador clima frío.

La calle principal de Cerro Punta Chiriqui te deja ver tiendas de souvenirs, restaurantes, tiendas de vegeatles y frutas frescas. Además de ser un lugar ideal para caminar , donde te puedes entretener disfrutando de comida típica y el aroma naturales de los vegetales frescos.

Al final de esta calle conseguirás el Parque Internacional de la Maitad. El cual es muy visitado por turistas de todo el mundo, ya que fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1990.

Es rico en clima frio, es un área boscosa.

Así mismo este parque Cerro Punta, Chiriqui cuentas por 3 senderos a visitar:  1.- SENDERO EL RETOÑO, 2.- SENDERO LA CASCADA y 3.- SENDERO PANAMÁ VERDE. En todos ellos puedes hacer observación de aves.

¿CÓMO LLEGAR A CERRO PUNTA?

Si vas en carro toma la via de Volcan con destino a Cerro Punta(18 km). Hay señalizaciones, pero puedes ubicarlo por Waze también, tomas el desvio que va al poblado de Las Nubes  y termina en la entrada principal de la Pila. Es posible que te tomes 45min pero difrutarás del paisaje mientras recorres el camino.

The main street of Cerro Punta lets you see souvenir shops, restaurants, vegetable stores and fresh fruit. Additional, it is an ideal place to walk, where you can entertain yourself enjoying typical food and the natural aroma of fresh vegetables.

At the end of this street you will get Maitad International Park, which is very visited by tourists from all over the world. Since it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1990. It is rich in cold climate, is a wooded area.

This park Cerro Punta, Chiriqui includes 3 trails to visit: 1.- SENDERO EL RETOÑO, 2.- SENDERO LA CASCADA y 3.- SENDERO PANAMÁ VERDE. In all of them you can do bird watching.

HOW TO GET CERRO PUNTA?

If you go by car take the Volcan route to Cerro Punta (18 km). There are signs, but you can locate it by Waze also, take the diversion that goes to the town of Las Nubes and ends at the main entrance of the Pila. You can take 45min but you will enjoy the scenery as you walk the path.
